This high-temperature dynamic rotational anti-slag test furnace is engineered in accordance with GB/T 8931-2007, Refractory Materials—Method for Determination of Resistance to Slag. It implements Test Method 3: the rotational specimen aeration method. The system is a vertical high-temperature atmosphere electric furnace composed of a furnace shell, heating modules, crucible, operation and control system, and matched auxiliary components. Key features include an advanced, high-precision digital intelligent temperature controller paired with a continuous, non-contact silicon-controlled rectifier (SCR) power regulator. Users can program process curves, store multiple temperature profiles, maintain multiple PID parameter sets, and use PID self-tuning to effectively prevent overshoot and automatically regulate heating power continuously. The furnace supports melting under multiple atmospheres, including air and protective gases. Main technical specifications: - Maximum operating temperature: 1700℃ - Heating method: silicon molybdenum (Si-Mo) rods; Temperature measurement: platinum-rhodium thermocouple - Heating rate: room temperature to 1300℃ at 1–15℃/min; 1300–1600℃ at 1–5℃/min - Rated heating power: approximately 16 kW - Temperature control: closed-loop PID with programmable curve control; up to 50 segments - Temperature measurement wire: Type B standard wire - Furnace chamber atmospheres: Air, N2, Ar2; supports operation in air or protective atmospheres - Gas flow rate: 0–10 L/min - Temperature control accuracy: ≤±1℃; Soaking/holding stability: ≤±2℃ - Specimen size: 40 × 40 × 230 mm, up to four specimens tested simultaneously; also supports 40 × 40 × X rectangular specimens (height X adjustable per crucible height, >200 mm, typically 230 mm) - Crucible size: customized according to specimen size - Rotation mechanism: supports four specimens simultaneously; specimens are suspended in slag melt and perform planetary motion; rotation speed: 5–30 rpm - Specimen fixtures: secure clamping to ensure safety - Crucible details: inner diameter 210 mm, outer diameter 220 mm, internal height 165 mm; accommodates 80 mm molten iron and 40 mm slag; specimen immersion depth places the tip approximately 20 mm above the crucible bottom; protective crucible material: graphite - Slag addition port provided for convenient charging - Crucible lifting mechanism raises the crucible from below the furnace chamber into position This configuration enables reliable, repeatable assessment of refractory slag resistance under controlled, high-temperature, dynamic rotational conditions aligned with GB/T 8931-2007.
