Cross-Border E‑Commerce Operations Training in Xiangtan, March 2019

In early spring 2019, Alibaba Group invited a senior foreign trade lecturer from Guangzhou to deliver a cross-border e-commerce operations training session in Xiangtan. The program was highly practical, covering export operations skills in depth and offering clear, actionable guidance. The lecturer’s insights helped local exporters identify operational gaps and provided concrete methods for improvement. In 2018, our instrument export sales increased by 20% compared with the previous year. Within our export mix, thermal conductivity meters accounted for 35%, ceramic testing instruments 30%, refractory materials testing equipment 20%, and dilatometers 10%.
