Delivery of Crude Selenium Refining Research Equipment: Dual-Zone Opening Tube Furnace and Tellurium-Removal Melting Furnace

On August 17, 2020, our company completed the manufacturing of a set of crude selenium refining research equipment, consisting of a 1200 ℃ dual-zone opening tube furnace and a tellurium-removal atmospheric melting furnace. The system was shipped to a client site in Tongling, Anhui, and on August 20, 2020, our professional installation team completed on-site installation as scheduled. During commissioning, our technicians worked alongside the client’s experienced project personnel to tune both operational and process performance. They fully participated in trials aimed at achieving 5N high-purity selenium, ensuring the process flow was validated and the equipment passed final acceptance. The dual-zone opening tube furnace is primarily used for two operations: oxidative combustion of selenium and vacuum distillation of selenium. The tellurium-removal atmospheric melting furnace is used for two operations as well: melting-based tellurium removal and vacuum distillation tellurium removal for selenium.
