This note summarizes the key specifications and applicable standards for the DRX-I-PB thermal conductivity tester that uses the guarded hot plate method. Measurement range: 0.01–2 W/(m·K). Maximum temperature: 60 ℃. The instrument features digital temperature measurement with accuracy better than 0.2 grade. Reported results achieve ±3% accuracy. The metered heating power is 35 W ±1%. Required specimen dimensions are 200 × 200 × (5–20) mm. The DRX-I-PB is intended for measuring the thermal conductivity of plastics, glass, fibers, foams, and similar materials. Reference standards include GB/T 3392-82 (Test method for thermal conductivity of plastics, guarded hot plate method) and GB/T 3139-2005 (Test method for thermal conductivity of fiber-reinforced plastics and glass fiber reinforced plastics).
