The GHR-3K measures thermal conductivity and surface heat transfer characteristics of cylindrical pipes using longitudinal heat flow methods. It is designed for materials such as HDPE outer casings and polyurethane foam pre-insulated buried pipes in accordance with GB 10296-2008 and ISO 8497 test methods.
Product Description
The GHR-3K Cylindrical Pipe Thermal Conductivity Tester evaluates pipe thermal conductivity, surface heat transfer coefficient, linear thermal conductivity, and surface thermal resistance through controlled longitudinal heat flow and guarded sections. It applies virtual instrumentation for data acquisition, analysis, and reporting, aligning with GB 10296-2008 and ISO 8497 methodologies.
The system comprises a test host, dedicated software, and a multi-channel data acquisition system with computer-based control. Test fixtures are tailored to pipe size, with a defined metering section and guarded ends insulated by low-conductivity materials to minimize edge losses and improve measurement accuracy.
