The DRH-300C Thermal Conductivity Tester uses a double heat flow meter method for measuring the thermal conductivity and resistance of insulating materials. It is applicable to industries working with clays, sands, ceramics, and plastics, adhering to standards such as ASTM C518 and ISO 8301.
Product Description
The DRH-300C Thermal Conductivity Tester employs a dual heat flow meter approach to assess the thermal conductivity and resistance of various insulating board materials such as clays, sands, ceramics, and plastics. It integrates with an upper computer for fully automatic detection and report generation, including data collection, processing, report printing, and storage. Users can also opt for an embedded computer with a touch-screen human-machine interface to complete automated tests and data storage. Measurements strictly comply with ASTM C518, ISO 8301, and GB/T 10295 standards.
The instrument features a symmetrical pair of heat flow meters on the hot and cold plates, with sample placement designed to ISO 8301 specifications. An automatic sample thickness measurement system supports 15 to 100 mm with display resolutions of 0.1 mm. Samples can measure up to 300 × 300 mm in size, with thickness up to 200 mm for larger models.
The temperature control systems include a variable cooling plate ranging from -30°C to 15.0°C with constant temperature maintenance, and a heating plate from room temperature up to 99.99°C using a PID-controlled adjustable heater. Strong air cooling, electronic cooling, or external water bath options are available for cooling. The setup includes a computer interface for automatic testing utilizing a company-calibrated heat flow parameter of 23.26 W/m².mV, with the potential for imported heat flow meters upon request.
