The DRH-300C measures thermal conductivity and thermal resistance of insulating board materials, soils, ceramics, plastics, and similar specimens using a dual heat-flow meter plate method. It offers automated data acquisition, processing, and reporting in compliance with ASTM C518, ISO 8301, and GB/T 10295.
Product Description
The DRH-300C is a plate-type heat flow meter system designed for steady-state measurement of thermal conductivity and thermal resistance in flat specimens. A symmetric configuration places a heat flux sensor on both the hot and cold plates to capture bi-directional heat flow through the sample, improving accuracy and repeatability.
The instrument supports automated measurement via a host computer, including data acquisition, processing, storage, and report generation. An optional embedded controller with a touch screen enables stand-alone operation. Typical applications include testing of insulation boards, clays, sandy soils, ceramics, and plastics within standardized conditions.
Temperature control encompasses a thermostated cold plate and a PID-controlled hot plate with programmable setpoints. Thickness is measured automatically with incremental linear gauging, and fixtures are available for powders and granular samples, including round specimen cylinders for geotechnical materials.
