Hot-Wire Thermal Conductivity Tester

Published: 8/24/2021

Hot-wire and parallel-method instrument for measuring thermal conductivity of refractory insulation, powders, and non-metallic solids. Suitable for research, QA, and thermal property evaluation across a broad conductivity range and selectable high-temperature configurations.

Product Description

The Hot-Wire Thermal Conductivity Tester measures the thermal conductivity of shaped refractory insulation, powder materials, and non-metallic solid materials using both cross (hot-wire) and parallel methods in a single system. It follows GB 5990-86, GB/T 10297-1998, and GB/T 17106-1997 standards and is designed for automated measurement and analysis via computer control.

Typical applications include research and education, industrial quality control, and characterization of thermal properties for new materials. The system can be configured with optional high-temperature furnaces and may be equipped with a specific heat capacity module for solids and powders.
