Vertical Coefficient of Thermal Expansion Tester for Non-metallic Materials

Published: 1/22/2025

A vertical dilatometer for determining linear thermal expansion of non-metallic materials, glass, ceramics, graphite, polymers, and composites. It supports automated measurement and analysis with microcomputer control and optional offline manual testing for laboratory and quality control applications.

Product Description

The PZY-III-10/14/17 is a vertical thermal expansion tester designed to measure linear expansion and contraction of large or standard specimens across configurable temperature ranges. It employs microcomputer-based control to monitor and regulate displacement and temperature throughout the test, with optional offline manual operation and on-line automated testing.

The system is suitable for glass rods, tubes, plates, and finished parts, and complies with YBB00202003-2015 for pharmaceutical glass linear expansion testing as well as GB/T 32158-2015 and GB/T 3074.4 sample preparation requirements. Data processing calculates the linear coefficient of thermal expansion and generates temperature–expansion curves; results can be stored, reviewed, and printed via the integrated mini printer.
