Product Description
The DIL0806A/B Thermal Expansion Coefficient Tester employs computer technology and intelligent PID regulation with a modular design to conduct comprehensive displacement and temperature control during experiments. It operates either offline or automatically when connected for testing. The tester is ideal for determining the high-temperature thermal expansion coefficients of a range of materials including carbon fibers and their products, metal alloy materials, glass, ceramics, refractories, and other polymer composites.
The instrument features a choice of vertical or horizontal structures and a vacuum-sealed design with high precision contact pressure adjustments. The measurement range extends to 5000 μm with a resolution of 0.1 μm. Various temperature brackets are available, encompassing ranges from -196°C to 2000°C, depending on the selected sample holder, furnace, and protective tube.
This system is equipped with an integrated amplifier and inductance displacement sensor. It also includes standard components such as a tubular furnace, a cooling liquid nitrogen tank, and data acquisition capabilities enabled through a PCI or USB2.0 connection to an external computer. The setup also encompasses vacuum sealing, pressure adjustment, and a temperature-controlling water bath with cooling functions.
