Load Softening Temperature Tester

Published: 3/14/2025

High-temperature load softening tester for refractories, ceramics, and graphite to determine softening behavior under combined heat and load. Built to YB/T 370, GB/T 5989, and ISO 1893:1989 methods with configurable temperature ranges and loading options.

Product Description

The Load Softening Temperature Tester measures the temperature range over which refractory, ceramic, and graphite materials undergo noticeable plastic deformation when subjected to a specified compressive load during controlled heating. The instrument supports both non-differential heating methods per YB/T 370 as well as compliance with GB/T 5989 and ISO 1893:1989, offering multiple configurations to suit different sample sizes and loading requirements.

It features programmable heating with manual or automatic control, precise deformation measurement, and options for direct digital loading. An opening furnace structure facilitates quick replacement of upper and lower compression rods, while an independent loading system improves load accuracy. The system can connect to a computer for fully automatic control and report printing.
