Product Description

The FTA-II is a flexible video-based analyzer designed to characterize liquid–solid and liquid–liquid interactions, including contact angles, surface and interfacial tensions, wettability, and adsorption behavior. It captures dynamic and static droplet events and analyzes droplet size and shape to compute target properties, presenting results graphically and enabling export to databases or spreadsheets.

The system provides real-time visualization on a PC, stores image sequences for post-processing, and supports continuous or event-triggered acquisition. Automated image analysis is complemented by semi-automatic and manual modes for complex profiles, with explicit edge detection visualization to verify algorithm performance. Optional environmental and motion-control accessories extend capability to temperature-controlled, pressurized, tilted, or large-sample scenarios.
