It is primarily used for aluminum cathode carbon blocks to assess their quality and performance in the aluminum industry.

Product Description

The DIL09BPD Sodium Expansion Coefficient Tester is designed following ISO 15379-1:2004 and the domestic industry standard YS/T63.5-2006 for determining the linear expansion rate of aluminum cathode carbon blocks due to sodium infiltration, known as the sodium expansion rate. Leveraging computer and smart device technology, this integrated unit offers automated testing that is easy to operate.

It allows for comprehensive control of physical displacement and temperature during testing using intelligent meters and a computer interface for real-time adjustments. The equipment features an integrated touchscreen and testing software for enhanced functionality.
