Carbon Material Thermal Conductivity Tester

Published: 6/18/2021

The DRX-II-LUX tester measures thermal conductivity of carbon materials using a heat plate and cold plate system. It is primarily applied in industries that require precise thermal property evaluation of carbon-based materials.

Product Description

The DRX-II-LUX Carbon Material Thermal Conductivity Tester comprises a heat plate with an integrated heater and a cold plate with a water circulation channel, both controlled using Pt100 platinum resistance thermometers. The heat plate maintains a temperature of approximately 60°C, while the cold plate remains around 20°C. A temperature measurement system, employing differential thermopiles or Pt100 thermometers, gauges the temperature difference across the test sample's surfaces accurately.

A sample preheater is available to warm samples to 40°C before testing, ensuring consistent initial conditions. The instrument can be equipped with either automatic or manual prepressure features to maintain stable pressure on the sample's contact surface. The tester operates according to the standards ISO12987-2000 and YS/T63.3-2006, making it suitable for thermal conductivity evaluation in carbon materials, with measurement precision specified to ±0.1°C.
