Ceramic Thermal Shock Tester

Published: 9/16/2020

The SQ005 tester evaluates the thermal shock resistance of domestic ceramics in accordance with GB3298-82 and is also suitable for glass and other silicate products. It enables rapid, repeatable hot–cold cycling to assess product durability and support process control and research.

Product Description

The SQ005 Ceramic Thermal Shock Tester is designed to determine the thermal stability of household ceramic ware by subjecting specimens to controlled hot and cold transitions. Compliant with the GB3298-82 test method requirements for apparatus, it ensures consistent conditions for evaluating resistance to thermal stress.

Beyond domestic ceramics, the system can be used for glass and other silicate-based materials, providing comparable test environments for cross-material assessment. Test results offer actionable data to guide production optimization, quality assurance, and R&D.
