Asphalt Bending Beam Rheometer

Published: 8/31/2015

The LWL Asphalt Bending Beam Rheometer measures flexural creep stiffness and m-value of asphalt binders in controlled low-temperature conditions. It supports testing of unaged binders and binders aged by RTFOT (T240) and/or PAV (R28) per method T313-04.

Product Description

The LWL Asphalt Bending Beam Rheometer is designed in accordance with T313-04 for determining the flexural creep stiffness of asphalt binders, enabling evaluation of low-temperature performance. It is applicable to both unaged asphalt and laboratory-aged materials prepared by RTFOT (T240) and/or PAV (R28).

The system integrates a high/low temperature constant-temperature bath, a lever loading mechanism, a data acquisition unit, and an embedded touch-screen software system for data processing. Its controlled temperature operation supports precise, repeatable measurements of creep deformation and derived stiffness parameters for binder grading and research.
