Product Description

The PCY-SP Automatic Glass Softening Point Tester measures the softening temperature of glass fibers by continuously tracking fiber elongation under controlled heating conditions. A grating or laser displacement sensor follows the fiber’s extension, while a host software acquires data in real time and analyzes the elongation rate to determine the softening point.

The system employs intelligent PID temperature control with programmable heating segments and rates, providing stable and precise thermal profiles for testing. It integrates separate thermocouples for furnace control and specimen measurement to ensure accurate temperature feedback and analysis aligned with GB/T 28195-2011 and ASTM C338 requirements.
