Glass Softening Point Tester

The PCY-SP Glass Softening Point Tester is designed to determine the softening temperature of glass fibers by automatically tracking the elongation of fibers under different temperature conditions using grating displacement tracking. The instrument utilizes real-time computer analysis to detect the rate of change in fiber elongation at various temperatures, automatically determining the softening temperature. It complies with standards such as GB/T28195-2011 and ASTMC-338, making it suitable for precise measurements in controlled environments.

The tester's main technical features include a rated temperature of 1200°C and a working temperature of 1000°C. It uses S-type thermocouples for temperature control and sample measurement, managed by an intelligent PID automation system that allows for programmable temperature ramping and precision control within ±1°C. The displacement of fiber elongation is measured with a laser or grating-based sensor for high accuracy. Data is collected via proprietary software, which provides quick and accurate results displayed on a computer. The instrument operates under a Chinese Windows XP system, enabling users to adjust heating rates based on selected control or program modes.
