High-Temperature Thermal Conductivity Tester for Refractory Materials

Published: 3/9/2021

Bench-top instrument for measuring the thermal conductivity of refractory materials, ceramic fiber products, and insulation bricks/boards at elevated temperatures. Designed for automated control with high temperature stability and compliant with GB/T 17911.8-2002 and YB/T 4130-2005 (water-flow guarded hot plate method).

Product Description

The DRX-I-SPB measures thermal conductivity of refractory products including refractory ceramic fibers, insulation bricks, insulation boards, and powder materials over a wide range, supporting testing at high temperatures. The system uses an industrial PC for fully automatic operation, providing a user-friendly interface, precise temperature control, and automated test reporting and printing.

It supports multi-layer specimen testing to improve throughput and can be configured for different maximum temperature options depending on application needs. The method reference includes GB/T 17911.8-2002 for refractory ceramic fiber products and YB/T 4130-2005 for refractory materials using the water-flow guarded hot plate approach.
