The DRX-II-JH measures thermal conductivity of electrically conductive materials at elevated temperatures using the longitudinal heat-flow method with direct current heating. It is suited for metals such as copper and stainless steel, as well as conductive nonmetals like graphite, and follows GB3651-83 and GB8722-88 methods.
Product Description
The DRX-II-JH is designed to determine high-temperature thermal conductivity of conductive solids by applying direct electrical heating and measuring longitudinal heat flow and temperature gradients along standardized specimens. This approach provides accurate heat transport characterization for metals and conductive nonmetal materials, supporting research and quality control across metallurgy, graphite products, and high-temperature materials engineering.
The system integrates a test host, data acquisition, electrical control, and dedicated software to automate heating ramps, measurement, and reporting. Configurable vacuum or protective atmospheres are available per user requirements to accommodate oxidation-sensitive samples and ensure measurement integrity.
