The XRC-II measures thermal storage coefficient, thermal conductivity, thermal diffusivity, and specific heat of homogeneous materials in a single rapid test. It is suited for dry or moisture-conditioned specimens and references GJ51-2002 for lightweight aggregate concrete.
Product Description
The XRC-II Thermal Storage Coefficient Tester is designed to determine multiple thermal properties of materials—thermal storage coefficient, thermal conductivity, thermal diffusivity, and specific heat—within approximately ten minutes per test. Based on a transient heat conduction method, the instrument applies short-duration heating to a specimen and analyzes the temperature response using solutions to the heat conduction differential equation to compute the desired parameters.
Typical applications include homogeneous plate, gel, powder, and granular materials tested under dry or various moisture conditions. The system uses embedded control and can be connected to a host computer for automated testing, data processing, and printout; a touch-screen panel control is available for embedded operation and onboard data handling.
