Thermal Shock Resistance Tester

Published: 3/27/2019

The Thermal Shock Resistance Tester is designed to measure the resistance of materials to thermal shock by simulating rapid temperature changes. It is applicable to refractory materials, ceramics, glass, graphite, and silicate products, among other non-metallic materials.

Product Description

The RZL-14 Thermal Shock Resistance Tester is manufactured according to YB/T 376.1 and YB/T2206.1-1998 standards for testing the thermal shock resistance of refractory materials. The sample holder can rotate horizontally, facilitating the observation of damage on sample end faces. This instrument is suitable for testing various materials' resistance to thermal shock, including refractories, ceramics, glass, and graphite.

The tester features a maximum furnace temperature of 1400°C with an isothermal zone tailored to the sample size, maintaining a temperature difference of ±2°C between any two points. It offers a choice between compressed air flow and water quenching methods to induce thermal shock. The equipment includes an automatic program control, digital display, and an option to automatically record thermal shock cycles, supporting three standard brick samples simultaneously for analysis.
