Optical Contact Angle Analyzer

The GFT-II-17 Optical Contact Angle Analyzer is a high-temperature device used to assess the surface wettability and contact angles on metal surfaces. It operates by monitoring the profile changes of samples, such as metals and inorganic compounds, through the stages of sintering, softening, melting, and liquefaction under specific temperature conditions.

The analyzer captures real-time images and temperature or height data, and utilizes image projection analysis to compute parameters like surface tension and wettability angles. With high degree automation and precision, it is suitable for research environments testing high-temperature material properties and is especially useful for routine production testing in metallurgy, chemical, power generation, and coal industries.

The instrument uses a CCD camera to capture dynamic sample images displayed on computer screens, facilitating observational analysis of sample contour changes during heating. With a temperature range from room temperature to 1700°C and controlled by a microprocessor with B-type thermocouples, the device ensures accurate temperature management.
