The HPA-300 measures thermal conductivity and thermal resistance of rock and other medium-to-high conductivity materials using a transient heat flow method with longitudinal heat flow technology. It supports automated loading and software-driven data acquisition from ambient to 300°C across a conductivity range of 0.015–100 W/m·K.
Product Description
The HPA-300 Rock Thermal Conductivity Tester evaluates the thermal transport properties of cylindrical specimens by applying controlled axial heating and monitoring multi-point temperature distributions. Designed for laboratory characterization, it automates loading and pressure control to ensure stable contact conditions and reliable measurement of thermal conductivity and thermal resistance.
A dedicated software suite manages test sequencing, data acquisition, and analysis, delivering results directly after each run. Integrated temperature control includes a constant-temperature cold end via a built-in water bath, while multiple axial and lateral temperature measurement points capture the required gradients for determining both axial and radial heat transfer performance.
