The SG-8-12 is a periodic-operation tube furnace using resistance heating for sintering, melting, and analysis of materials up to 1200°C. It supports adjustable protective gas flow and programmable temperature control for laboratory and industrial research applications.
Product Description
The SG-8-12 high-temperature tube furnace is designed for controlled-atmosphere heat treatment, enabling processes such as sintering, melting, and analytical heating of materials. It is widely used in laboratories, industrial plants, and research institutes that require precise thermal profiles and stable high-temperature environments.
The system comprises a furnace body and a separate temperature controller. A programmable temperature controller (up to 50 segments) paired with a K-type thermocouple provides measurement, indication, and closed-loop control. The furnace chamber is constructed around a high-purity alumina tube (99.9% Al2O3), with resistance wire heating elements and ports for gas inlet and water cooling; vacuum operation requires additional configuration.
The enclosure is available in integrated or vertical split configurations with a steel outer shell. The design supports continuous 24-hour operation under defined environmental and power conditions, with continuously adjustable ramp rates to meet diverse thermal processing requirements.
