The GFT-1600 measures dynamic wetting behavior and contact angle of metals and inorganic materials under controlled high-temperature, vacuum, or protective atmospheres. It records contour evolution from sintering and softening through melting and provides image-based data for calculating surface tension and wettability parameters.

Product Description

The GFT-1600 is a transmission-projection contact angle tester designed to quantify wetting phenomena of diverse materials at elevated temperatures. Samples are heated in a vertical pathway until molten and are dispensed to a substrate on the stage; the entire interaction is imaged and stored for subsequent analysis of contact angle dynamics.

Operation is computer-controlled, enabling automated temperature profiling, real-time image acquisition, and quantitative analysis of wettability parameters. The system integrates a high-temperature furnace, adjustable illumination, a zoom optical module with industrial CCD imaging, and dedicated software, making it suitable for R&D and routine testing in metallurgy, chemicals, power, and coal industries.
