Household Ceramic Bottle Impact Tester

Published: 9/29/2025

JB-30 is a pendulum-type impact tester for determining the impact toughness of household ceramic ware and bottles. It evaluates energy to initiate cracking and to cause complete fracture in accordance with GB/T 4742, QB/T 1993-2012, GB/T 38494-2020, and ASTM C368.

Product Description

The JB-30 Household Ceramic Bottle Impact Tester is designed to conduct impact tests on flat tableware at the center point, on the edges of concave vessels, and to perform edge break tests on flatware. Samples may be glazed or unglazed, enabling comprehensive assessment across typical daily-use ceramic forms.

During testing at the center of the specimen, the instrument measures the energy required to initiate the first crack and the total energy necessary to achieve complete breakage. The system supports standardized methods and can be configured with dedicated fixtures, including an optional V-shaped clamp for ceramic bottles, to ensure secure and repeatable positioning.
