Bench-top instrument for measuring liquid surface/interfacial tension and static contact angle using the detachment method with displacement force sensing. Suitable for wetting analysis of coatings, inks, surfactants, water treatment solutions, agrochemicals, plating baths, cosmetics, and transformer oil in compliance with ISO 8296, GB/T 14216, ISO 6295, and ASTM D971.
Product Description
The MIL-II is designed to quantify liquid surface and interfacial tension and to perform contact angle measurements for wetting analysis on films and solid surfaces. It applies a Hall-sensor-based displacement force transducer within a gradient magnetic field to convert mechanical force to electrical signal for non-electrical quantity measurement, enabling accurate tension determination by the detachment method.
The system supports CCD-based imaging for automated contact angle calculation and provides software for automated data storage and report printing. It offers both manual and automatic sample dosing and lift options to accommodate different testing workflows.
