A vertical high-temperature atmosphere furnace for evaluating slag erosion resistance of refractories per GB/T 8931-2007 Method 3 (rotating specimen with gas purging). It supports testing multiple specimens under air or protective atmospheres up to 1600°C with programmable PID temperature control.
Product Description
The High-Temperature Dynamic Slag Resistance Test Furnace is designed to measure the slag erosion and scouring resistance of refractory materials under molten, dynamically flowing slag. It is engineered in accordance with GB/T 8931-2007 and specifically implements Method 3, which employs rotating specimens with gas purging to simulate aggressive service conditions.
The system is a vertical atmosphere electric furnace comprising a robust shell, heating module, crucible assembly, motion mechanism, and an integrated operation and control system. It enables melting and testing in air or protective atmospheres, while the programmable closed-loop PID controller manages multi-step temperature profiles to minimize overshoot and maintain stable process conditions.
