The WM-II Steel-Wheel Abrasion Tester evaluates the abrasion resistance of brittle building materials using a standardized steel-wheel and abrasive feed method. It complies with GB/T 9966.4-2020 for natural stone abrasion testing and is suitable for unglazed tiles, mosaics, cement pavers, natural stone, marble slabs, and composite panels.

Product Description

The WM-II Steel-Wheel Abrasion Tester is designed to determine the abrasion resistance of brittle architectural materials through a controlled steel-wheel abrasion process with continuous abrasive feeding. The system comprises a friction steel wheel, an abrasive hopper with metered feed, a specimen clamp, and a balance weight to apply a defined load.

Engineered to meet GB/T 9966.4-2020 requirements for natural stone abrasion tests, the instrument supports method two with specified loading. Typical applications include quality control and performance verification of unglazed tiles, mosaics, cement paving bricks, natural stone, marble, and composite boards in material production and testing laboratories.
