Pendulum Impact Tester for Tableware and Hollow Ware

Published: 10/11/2025

The JB-30 pendulum impact tester evaluates the impact resistance of flat tableware and hollow vessels at the center and rim. It determines the energy to initiate cracks and the energy required for complete breakage across glazed or unglazed samples.

Product Description

The JB-30 is designed for impact testing of domestic ceramic ware, including flat plates and hollow vessels such as bowls and cups. It performs center-point and rim impact tests to quantify material toughness and assess resistance to damage in line with standardized methods.

Typical applications include quality control and R&D for ceramic manufacturers, where the instrument measures the energy causing initial cracking and the energy needed for total fracture. The system supports both glazed and unglazed specimens and is configured to accommodate common plate sizes and vessel dimensions.

Testing is conducted in accordance with GB/T 4742, QB/T 1993-2012, ASTM C368, and GB/T 38494-2020, ensuring compatibility with domestic and international standards for impact resistance of ceramic tableware.
