Product Description
The HDRX-II-RL is a steady-state heat flow method instrument for determining thermal conductivity and thermal resistance of ceramics, glass, refractories, polymer composites, nylon, plastics, silicone rubber, resins, and insulation materials. It implements ASTM D5470 for thermal transmission of thermally conductive electrical insulating materials and references ASTM C518, GB 10295-2008 (heat flow meter method), and GB/T 25261-2018 Appendix A requirements for thermal conductivity measurement.
The system features automated loading and in-situ thickness measurement to enable tests under different pressures while reducing operator-induced error. It supports multilayer techniques for thin films and provides stable temperature control with a cold plate near ambient and a hot plate up to 1000°C, enabling high-temperature evaluations.
