Product Description
The DRX-II-JG Laser Flash Method Thermal Conductivity Tester leverages a laser pulse to irradiate a sample, with an infrared detector measuring the resulting temperature increase on the rear surface. This method allows for the rapid and convenient calculation of thermal diffusivity, specific heat, and thermal conductivity. It is extensively used for testing metals, alloys, ceramics, graphite, carbon fibers, filled plastics, and polymers, as well as in solid, liquid, and powder forms for materials like coal and electrically insulating solids.
This instrument is designed with modularity in mind, enabling the measurement of thermal diffusivity, thermal conductivity, and specific heat capacity across a wide range of temperatures, from -125°C to 2800°C. It accommodates varying sample sizes and types, including solids, low-viscosity liquids, high-viscosity liquids, and films. The DRX-II-JG provides the flexibility to use different sample holders and atmospheres, such as vacuum and inert gases, to suit specific testing requirements. With a user-friendly interface, the device supports automatic sample loading and connects to a computer for comprehensive data analysis and reporting.
