Vertical Dual-Sample Linear Thermal Expansion Coefficient Tester

The PZY-III vertical dual-sample pushrod dilatometer measures thermal expansion/shrinkage and calculates the linear thermal expansion coefficient of a wide range of materials, including ceramics, glass, alloys, graphite/carbon, and polymers. It is designed to meet common test requirements for ASTM, DIN, and GB/T standards as well as the National Pharmaceutical Packaging Materials standards (YBB).

Product Description

The PZY-III is a vertical, dual-pushrod dilatometer used to measure dimensional change during heating and to determine the linear thermal expansion coefficient. It supports testing of diverse sample forms such as glass rods, tubes, plates, and finished parts, including materials that may undergo expansion or shrinkage in a molten state.

The system provides intelligent test process control with full-process monitoring of displacement and temperature. Software automatically processes raw data, calculates the linear thermal expansion coefficient and linear expansion, and generates temperature–expansion/coefficient curves with data recording, storage, review, and print output.

The instrument is intended for use under ASTM D 3386, DIN 51045, GB/T32158-2015, GB/T3074.4, and National Pharmaceutical Packaging Materials standards methods including the average linear thermal expansion coefficient method (YBB00202003-2015) and the linear thermal expansion coefficient determination method (YBB00202003-2015).
